Newton change to #2?

I remember reading that if Cam did want to switch back to #2 jersey number he might have to buy out the back stock of jerseys (this came up when AP thought about switching) but now that we have tweeked the logo and they are changing all the jerseys anyway he should be off the hook on that one. Wonder if he might change? I guess either way you should wait for new Nike jerseys. Wonder when they come out?

I think CAM is professional enough that as long as Jimmy is on the roster, CAM isn’t gonna worry about it. If I was him, though, I’d keep #1.

Its rare for someone to willingly change numbers while at the same place/team. He’s probably grown accustom to #1 and it is a part of his legacy now. I doubt he changes.

they havent released them yet

as far as I’ve seen. There will be a big press release when they switch fully occurs. For now they want to keep selling whatever stock they have of the Reebok jerseys.

would newton really have to buy the backstock of jerseys?

I mean they’re gonna discount all of the old jerseys now that their is a new logo plus the fact that Nike is making them now instead of Reebok. Anything with the old logo or with Reebok on it will immediately get reduced to make room for the new product.

IF there ever was a better time to switch numbers(as much as I’d hate it) that time is now.
