Panthers lose coin toss, pick 9th in 2012 NFL Draft

While the Panthers did lose today's coin toss and will pick ninth in the first round of the draft, they'll pick eighth in the second, fourth and sixth rounds. The toss was done with a specially made coin with the Panthers logo on one side and the Dolphins logo on the other.

"I'm just happy they had a special coin made up so if we lose, then I'm not blamed for calling it wrong," Panthers GM Marty Hurney joked on the eve of the coin toss. "You always want to win, but the way this draft is setting up, we're going to get a good player."

So now that we know where we are picking, does this change who you believe we are going to take? Morris Claiborne or Dre Kirkpatrick would be my guesses at this point. In my dream world though I'd pray we got Matt Kalil....but that ain't happening.
