Which keeps us under cap and we may go more under cap if other rookies make roster over someone on my roster.

This would be an amazing offseason. Period.
I don't want to draft Michael Brockers or Devon Still. Chris Kreider is the future.

You forgot to cut Pickles

hmm escalator wasn't on sportrac
Oh well still under cap with him.. and he is still cheap…. unless you wanna go 2 qb’s into season
There are a lot of cheap FA backup QB options
or bringing DA back for just a little more (if more at all) would be better than keeping Jimmy for a mil. He didn’t dress out a single game last year and we badly need depth. Otherwise, I think this would be a solid offseason.

Yeah
I wouldn’t mind Dennis Dixon or Josh Johnson

thomas is a bean pole .
Only Oregon wanted him as a QB, everyone else ATH
If he isn't cut
I doubt he is backing up Cam.

Excelente.
Except for Thompson in the 2nd he is going to be another Clemson D line bust. Go with the more sure thing in Poe. Then you would have been firing on all cylinders.
in some cases
I have seen him as high as top 15 and as low as bottom of the 2nd
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was
Gamble wouldnt take a restructured smaller deal after the great year he just had.
and Williams is a luxury that we cant afford
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was
the first part of which he wont see for 3 years
Gamble is currently on a fair contract for both sides, i dont see it changing
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was
I also dont like Whartons deal
good for now but way to much later. 5 mil for each of his last 2 years? and thats just the signing bonus we will not pay a guard 10 mil a season for 2 seasons
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was
He gets all the signing bonus up front
It just counts against cap later
Here my Dream Scenario
Trade Clausen and Butler for a 3rd
Cut: Baker, Hartsock, Norwood, Goodson
Restructure: Wharton, Smith, Davis
Draft:
1- CB Morris Claiborne
2- OLB Zack Brown
3- FS Markelle Martin
4- CB Cliff Harris
5- DT Akiem Hicks
6- WR Jordan White
7- P Shawn Powell
Sign:
TE Shockey
RB Sutton
DE Applewhite
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was
I like him in the 4th a lot
i think he could be a very good nickel CB plus he is an elite returner. Claiborne and Gamble starting at CB with Munnerlyn, Hogan, and Harris fighting for the nickel and dime spots? yessir.
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was
A Clairborne/Blackmon/Kirpatrick, Z. Brown, M. Martin draft is indeed a dream draft I would want

Wow.
If Hurney could swing this….
A proven pash rusher in Mario Williams (who will be motivated to come back home) will definately help our D. Then you add M. Claiborne, AND Rainey (who I think would be one of the two great scatbacks in the draft), AND R. Wilson as a good backup to supplant Pickles as #2….AND Landry….And we keep Shockey….WIN!
LOL- Getting Clairborne in the draft makes this offseason an A by default...
Adding Mario Williams and Landry makes this the greatest off-season in Panther history (Excluding Cam last year of course). You make a dream scenario that’s hard to beat good sir. Seriously who would vote this anything other than an A? It doesn’t matter who we get in the second round with this offseason.

he kept pickles, gets a lower grade for that stunt. ;)
Welcome to the Cam Cave
Dig the first couple of picks.
But the other picks are so-so to me and your free agency is impossible.

Yeah, but if you're gonna include cap calculations and the like...
Or maybe I’m just an asshole lol

It's just very advanced rosterbating with numbers...
Williams is all but impossible, and several teams need a safety in a slim market which drives Landry’s price up significantly. But dreaming is what plants the seeds for shockers to happen…ala Pujols to the Angels or Chris Paul to the Clippers. Keep dreaming.
