Closing schedules for the 10 worst teams, the Eagles could finish with the worst record

While reading the recent post about how the bottom 20 NFL teams would be drafting if the season ended today, I thought it might be usefull to look at the 10 worst teams schedules over the final 4 weeks of the season. This might give us a better insight into where teams might be drafting in the 2013 draft.

Chiefs (2-10):

at Browns (4-8)

at Raiders (3-9)

Colts (8-4)

Broncos (9-3)

The Chiefs have a shot at wins over the Browns and Raiders, but both games are on the road. Likely to finish at 3-13, or even 2-14.

Jaguars (2-10):

Jets (5-7)

at Dolphins (5-7)

Patriots (9-3)

at Titans (4-8)

The Jaguars seem to have only 1 certain loss (Patriots), but 2 of their final games that they have a shot to win are on the road (Jets and Dolphins). Likely to finish at 3-13 or maybe 4-12.

Raiders (3-9):

Broncos (9-3)

Chiefs (2-10)

at Panthers (9-3)

at Chargers (4-8)

With this scheduale, the Raiders could finish 6-10, but I expect 4-12 or 5-11, beating the Chargers, and maybe the Chiefs.

Eagles (3-9):

at Buccaneers (6-6)

Bengals (7-5)

Redskins (6-6)

at Giants (7-5)

With this schedule, it looks like the Eagles will go winless in their final 4 games. likely record is 3-13.

Panthers (3-9):

Falcons (11-1)

at Chargers (4-8)

Raiders (3-9)

at Saints (5-7)

realisticly, the Panthers could beat the Raiders and Chargers, but I expect a 4-12 record.

Chargers (4-8):

at Steelers (7-5)

Panthers (3-9)

at Jets (5-7)

Raiders (3-9)

The Chargers could beat both the Panthers and Raiders at home, but with their coaching situation the Cahargers may just quit on Turner. Likely finish, 5-11 or maybe 4-12.

Browns (4-8):

Chiefs (2-10)

Redskins (6-6)

at Broncos (9-3)

at Steelers (7-5)

The Browns should win against the Chiefs, but lose the rest, to finish with a 5-11 record.

Titans (4-8):

at Colts (8-4)

at Jets (5-7)

at Packers (8-4)

Jaguars (2-10)

The Titans could beat the Jets and Jaguars (they have already beaten the Titans, and MJD might be back by then. Likely record 5-11.

Cardinals (4-8):

at Seahawks (7-5)

Lions (4-8)

Bears (8-4)

at 49ers (8-3-1)

Unless the 49ers rest almost all their starters, I don't see the Cardinals being able to score enough to win any of their remaining games. Likely record 4-12.

Lions (4-8):

at Packers (8-4)

at Cardinals (4-8)

Falcons (11-1)

Bears (8-4)

I don't see a likely win, other than the Cardinals, but the Falcons and Bears could be resting many of their starters. Likely record, 5-11.

So, without figuring in their strength of schedule, this is how the 2013 draft could look:

1. Chiefs (2-14)

2. Eagles (3-13)

2. Jaguars (3-13)

4. Raiders (4-12)

4. Panthers (4-12)

4. Chargers (4-12)

4. Cardinals (4-12)

7. Browns (5-11)

7. Titans (5-11)

7. Lions (5-11)
