Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE
Welp...
Thursday practice is in the books, and it doesn't look good for the Carolina Panthers. Releasing their injury report, the Panthers have a rash of big-name injuries heading into the weekend, and while Ron Rivera hopes at least half of them are available, it's not looking good.
| Name | Position | Injury | Status |
| Brandon LaFell | WR | Toe | DNP |
| Jonathan Stewart | RB | Ankle | DNP |
| James Anderson | LB | Back | DNP |
| Charles Godfrey | SS | Back | DNP |
| Dwan Edwards | DT | Wrist | DNP |
There aren't adequate words for how bad the team could be on Sunday, especially on defense. Cam Newton and Carolina's offense can limp through without LaFell and Stewart, but losing the Panthers best defensive tackle in Dwan Edwards, being without another safety, and adding James Anderson to the mix is about as bad as it gets.
Last week the Kansas City Chiefs controlled the ball for over 37-minutes, it's hard to conceive what will happen against Atlanta. Like Rivera, all we can do is hope that some of these players will be available.
