My Dream List of 2013 Free Agents and Offseason Moves.

Please bare with me though this as I am really doing this so I don't have to go home so I dont have to listen to my wife who I haven't seen in 2 weeks, her father whose hip broke doing things 74 year old men shouldn't be doing in the shower, I'll leave that to your imagination to figure out, and my 2 wonderful 4 month old twins who I have watched for 2 weeks by myself while they started cutting teeth. If my hair hadn't been lasered off I'd have pulled it all out by now but as it stands only my beard has a few bald patches. So I guess I'll start with the Free Agents: My first Free Agent will cost the team alot in cap space that we don't have but I feel helping are O-line with FA will allow us to make the D-Line better in the Draft. FA G Andy Levitre of the Bills would make a great addition to the line because of his run blocking, durability, his ability to play anywhere on the line although center is not his strong suit, and just all around chactor and the way he plays the game. As the best FA G for the 2013 season he will be in high demand and the Bills still have alot of other FA to resign. The resigning of RFA Urbik before Levitre was some what odd to me until I saw what he resigned for, 13.3million over 4yrs with a 3.5million signing bonus, and that would be way less then resigning Levitre would have taken. My 2nd FA signing would hae to be DT Sammie Lee Hill of the Detroit Lions. At 6'4 and 329lbs he has the size and speed that both Edwards lack and with only 4yrs in the league and a part time starter he has less wear and tear on him the some of the other DT FA like the Bears Melton or the Bengals Sims and both of Edwards. In his 4yrs he has played in 59 games with 95TT, 4.5sacks, 1Ffum and 3PD. Not bad for a part time starter and I believe he will be looking for a place he can start and I would love to see that here in Carolina. My 3rd FA signing would be LB Rob Jackson of the Redskins. Only just used as a starter this season because of the injury to Brian Orakpo. From 08 to 12 he only played in 26gms and had 15TT, 1sack, 1FFum and 1PD. This season in 15gms he has 36TT, 4.5sacks, 3Int, 1IntTD, 1DefTD, 2FFum and 7PD. Not bad for a 6'4 266lb former 7th round pick out Kansas State in 08. With so many of are LB's contracts needing restructuring and many of them coming off of injury a fresh set of legs will be needed and Big Rob is putting together one hell of a season not to garner just a little intrest. My Offseason moves would mostly be restructing of Beason, Gross and Smith's contract's. Resigning TD and Capt to 2yr contract's although TD's I'd structure like Peyton's contract to protect the team incase of injury. Let Martin walk along with Barnidge, AE, R.Edwards, D.Edwards unless we cant sign Hill, Hartstock, Murphy, Pollack, Applewhite, and Ness. Sign Gano, Senn, and DA to 1yr contracts. Trade D-Will, Anderson and if anyone will take him Clausen. A short list of possible trade partners for D-Will are Broncos, Cowboys, Steelers, Packers, Rams, and the Colts. The Broncos need a a good RB because MaGahee is getting up there in age, Moreno can't stay healthly and there rookie Hillman hasn't earned Fox's trust yet. Fox know's exactly what D-Will can do and would be a good fit for his team. I'd love a draft pick for him but the Bronco's have a player I really want, WR Eric Decker. With Decker on board we have a receiver who has gained more and more of Peyton's trust in the end zone with 11 TD's and Deckers ability to grab just about anything thrown his way. His 6'3 frame helps out to. The Cowboy's need a new #1 back as well as both Jones and Murry can't stay healthy and I'd think they'd give a 3rd and 7th for D-Will. The Steeler's, Packers's, and Ram's don't have a history of trading for older back's but if they do I expect it to be a 5th to 7th round pick. The Colts need a back to pair with rookie Ballard and since D-Will is a time share back he'd be a perfect fit. I'd expect a 3rd or 4th rounder from them. His contract will make him hard to move so I'd figure a mid to late round pick is all we'd get for a 1st round talent like D-Will. Anderson isn't anything special but a team like the Lions, Raiders, Chiefs, or Saints would likely give a late round pick for him while Clausen could be traded for a low pick or special team player to the likes of the Raiders, Chiefs, and the Steelers were he could get a chance to start or be a primary backup. Now I love my wife to death but next time she leaves me with my little monsters alone for 2 weeks why she gets to go to Jacksonville, FL to take care of her dad who also had my sister inlaw there as well, I'll problaly do nothing because she's way better looking and hell of alot smarter then me so I problaly owe her alot for marrying my chalky white behind.
