SB Nation polled its bloggers asking them who should win some of the popular awards such as MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, etc...Here are the results one of which I'm going to create today's debate thread on.

Here's the summary of the winners:

CotY: Bruce Arians, Indianapolis Colts

EotY: John Elway, Denver Broncos

I'm okay with these results but in the email chain that ensued after the results went around SBN internally a certain Colts blogger was not so enamored that Andrew Luck has lost out to RG3 yet again (Remember the Heisman vote?). Here's what he had to say about it, tongue in cheek a little I will assume:

I'm annoyed so many of you mother f#$&!ers voted RG3 as RotY. Kirk Cousins came in and won two games for the Skins, but Griffin is the top rookie?

Dumb.
Everyone and their mother had the Colts winning 3 games this year. They've won 9, and the season isn't over. 6 of them won on fourth quarter comebacks led by a rookie QB who is working with five other rookies on offense. Their head coach went down in week four with cancer, and they still won.
Yet, somehow, Luck isn't RotY? Bull$chizzle (edited)
Y'all are just spellbound by RG3's smile, or he's bribing you with Subway coupons.
So do you agree with his sentiment regarding Luck and RG3 since the award was not split into offensive and defense? Of course if they had been split Kuechly would be in there on the defensive side.

How about the rest of the vote?

The only other vote I would question is JJ Watt for DMVP, though he is having a great season. I was thinking Aldon Smith should instead be the guy.
Thoughts?
