Can someone help me understand the situation at middle linebacker? It goes without saying that Keek has been pretty tremendous, as many of us predicted. However, we have a multiple pro bowl winning linebacker coming off the IR next year in Beason, and it's hard to dismiss what he meant to our defense for the later half of last decade. What do you think the GM is going to do? Obviously, both players have shown a certain level of inferiority at outside, so playing both simultaneously may not be ideal. Does anyone know what Beason's contract looks like over the next couple years? How serious was his injury? What would you guys do? Should we just cut our losses, take Keek, and move on, or should we stick it out with one of the franchises top defensive players of all time and hope the injury bug stays away...
