From the Film Room: OL Dirty Work

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

In this edition of From the Film Room we focus on the OL making big plays happen. Take a look at this three GIFs of the Panthers three biggest plays in the win over the Falcons. I'm hoping we some more of this today!

In this first big rookie LG Amini Silatolu gets down field and keeps two defenders from getting hits on his QB.

Way to keep him clean Amini!

The second one focuses on the LG as well, who drives the DT to right one-on-one:

The push at the end of his block by Amini looked a lot meaner from the other angle. It also helped on this play that the DE totally sold out on D-Will getting the ball. Yet everyone did their job blocking and that is why the play went so far.

In the third and final GIF we have the TD by DeAngelo Williams. What made this play work was both Panther guards Garry Williams and Silatolu getting out front and taking out three Falcons in text book fashion.

That's the dirty work that makes the Panthers big play offense work!
