It takes a village...
Things aren't great right now, that hasn't been lost on us. A combination of disappointing season, influx of users, and site-wide changes has caused the discourse on CSR to take a sharp turn for the worse.
So, what can you do? In an ideal world we could post a 'hey, let's be nice everyone!' post, and that would make a difference-- in the past, that made a difference. Times change, things change, and we need to move forward and push this more than it has been in the past.
In short: We need moderators.
Ideally we are looking for 2-3 dedicated people, preferably those who already enjoy spending time in CSR comment sections to help enforce our code of conduct, by removing those trolling the site, and identifying posts that are attacking other users.
What we're looking for:
- Someone who can identify trouble topics, and have the discretion to know when to hide or warn as necessary.
- An ability to follow a guideline established by editorial team designed to determine how we moderate posts that are against our code of conduct.
- 'Flag' problem comments, giving comments on why the moderator thinks this is a problem.
We're not asking you to write articles, or have a 'workload', we just need some help keeping our comment sections as good as they can be. Please post in the comments if you are interested, and we will let you know our decision.
