Streeter Lecka
The Panthers have invented yet another new way to lose. After leading for most of the game the Panthers seemingly put the game away with a 4th quarter TD to make it an 11 point lead. But it only added to the big tease of a win that would never come.
The defense had played lights out for most of the game, even forcing a goal line fumble to prevent a Bucs go ahead TD early in the 4th quarter. Yet once again victory was crushed in the jaws of defeat (or something like that). But when the game was on the line late they gave up the TD pass to Vincent Jackson, who then added insult to injury with the 2 pt conversion. From there it was all Buc son OT. They won the coin toss and then marched right down the field and scored the winning TD.
There was a number of exceptional Panther performances in this game I'm sure we would be talkong about right now but the sour taste of this loss makes me need a drink. So I think I'm going to stop here and let this settle in before we go any further on the analysis.
