What's up with all the Panther Bashing, CSR?

The one thing that hasn't been said is, the Broncos' defense was simply better than the Panthers' offense. It's really as simple a that. Von Miller was on Cam Newton like he stole something from him all game long. We've all watched John Fox and Jack Del Rio dial up defenses before. This game should not have been a surprise to anyone. I don't hold this game against the Panthers because I already knew what the outcome was going to be before it started.

Some of the recent criticism from the CSR staff is really over the top in my opinion. Look, I've read all the Cam bashing and all the coach bashing, but the bottom line is, Cam's still trying to learn the game. He's 23 years old, and he doesn't have a ton of experience to call upon. Granted, he's a year and a half into this offense, but we all knew going into this that Cam would not reach his potential until around year three or so (remember the collard greens?). So, why all the hate all of the sudden? Give the man a chance to learn the game. I've read that 'Cam can't read defenses'. Yeah? Name me a second year QB that can? Andy Dalton, Blaine Gabbert, Josh Freeman, Sam Bradford, and Matthew Stafford are all in the same boat. This is not a plug and play position. It takes YEARS to learn how to play QB in the NFL.

I think those who are bashing Cam are being RIDICULOUS! As far as the coaching goes, I think this coaching staff has done a pretty good job this year. This is a REALLY young team with a lot of missing parts. The fact that they have been within a score of every game, except in games against the Superbowl champions and their former Head Coach, is a pretty good accomplishment for a team in its second year of a total rebuild. I have read that nobody is getting better, really? I disagree. The team out there now is WAY better than the team that played in game one. They have solved a lot of the tackling problems, they had to restructure the offensive line, and the secondary has played way above their talent level. In fact, I think this team is playing some very competitive football every week.

If you went into this season thinking we were going 12-4 or 11-5, I guess you have the right to be disappointed. I mean if you have unrealistic expectations, you’re gonna be disappointed when those unrealistic expectations don’t come true. If you didn't think there were going to be growing pains this year, were you really being fair? Am I disappointed? Sure I am. I wish all those one-score losses were one-score wins, but I see a team on the upswing instead of a down and out loser like some of the recent s posts have suggested. I guess I just find it comical that when they win, they are the best team in the NFL, but when they lose, they are the worst.
