US PRESSWIRE
It's commonplace now to see athletes publicly endorse products on social media in exchange for compensation. It's not nefarious, heck, listened to radio lately? There's nothing wrong with a well-crafted, subtle advertisement for a local product. In the case of Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart his approach was neither well-crafted, nor subtle.
These CPI security commercials are intense! If you don't have home security looks like CPI is the way to go @cpi_security

This tweet is the perfect example of why Jonathan Stewart is so awesome. There's something so delightfully unaware that this is an utterly terrible product placement, and yet none of it matters to J-Stew.
The last time we saw this kind of advertising from a Panthers player it was Jimmy Clausen in 2010, who didn't do it much better.
I've got my @joe's jeans on heading to my rookie dinner with the QBs and my O-Line!! Should be a fun one with the guys

Maybe we need to have a couple of Panthers players push CSR... hmm... let me craft a tweet for them.
"WOW... I just read Cat Scratch Reader! That is certainly a place to read news. Looks like Cat Scratch Reader is the place to go! @CatScratchreadr"
