A first-time uniform change for the Panthers will be on display
This morning Carolina Panthers' linebacker Jon Beason, and cornerback Captain Munnerlyn revealed via Twitter that the Panthers will be sporting a uniform change today against the Denver Broncos, and it's one fans have been pushing for over the last 17 years.

The decision to not wear a black-on-black uniform in the past is largely due to television. It's a combination that typically doesn't read well, though with the electric blue and white accent it shouldn't be too bad. What remains to be seen is if there is any change to the helmet-- though I'd be stunned if we saw a black helmet too.
Back in June the prospect of an all black uniform was leaked via Madden 13. The first-time uniform option appeared in EA Sports' video game, and now it's safe to say that whatever makes Madden in the Summer is a lock to be present in the NFL in the fall. I never thought we'd see a black-black combination, and while it's a little gimmicky, who cares? It's fun.
