I am attending this weekends game with some colleagues, this is only my third ever Panthers game (I'm a Bills fan transplant :) ). I am "entertaining" some people for this game and want to make the most of it. As I understand, my Lot 1 parking pass is actually for a parking deck therefore no alcohol and no grill (aka no fun). Are there any bars around the stadium that open prior to game time? My friend and avid Panthers fan tells me that I am spoiled as a Bills fan with regards to Pre-game tailgating and that its rather subdued in Uptown Charlotte on game days, is this true? Are there any bars within walking distance that are open on game days?
