Dale Zanine-US PRESSWIRE
N OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
This afternoon Ron Rivera revealed that both Chris Gamble and Jon Beason missed practice today, and that he is 'concerned' for both player's status on Sunday.
Beason is still recovering from an injury, and it appears Luke Kuechly will be your starting middle linebacker again for Sunday's contest, but it's Gamble's addition to the 'DNP' list that is beyond disheartening. Reports are that he aggravated the shoulder injury that sidelined the Panthers #1 CB against Seattle.
Wait for it, because it gets 1000 times worse.
Asked if IR is a possibility for LB Jon Beason and/or CB Chris Gamble, Ron Rivera said he'll know more on Friday.

Yes, IR is a possibility for both players.
Typing is a coping mechanism, typing keeps the tears at bay. Sorry, I had a personal moment.
Just like on offense the one player the Panthers couldn't lose was Ryan Kalil, so too Chris Gamble is the one player on defense the Carolina Panthers have absolutely no reliable player to assist. Given that Seattle was able to open up their passing offense against Carolina's secondary with Russell Wilson and his receivers, I'm sure it will go swimmingly to have Tony Romo and his pass-catchers go against a secondary minus Chris Gamble.
There is still one more practice tomorrow, but this doesn't sound good.
