As we look forward to a draft, OTA's and hopefully the affirmation that Chudzinski will remain in Carolina, the playoffs will kick-off this weekend with the 3 and 4 seeded teams playing the wild card teams at home. I feel pretty strongly that next year will be the end of consecutive years on the outside looking in for the Panthers. For now though most of us will be picking a team out of the twelve slated to play in the next few weeks and becoming temporary fans. I am no exception and after the jump reveal my post season favorite.
The New York Giants. I know, I know they're not the easiest team to root for but honestly I didn't pick them because I care for or relate to anything about their team. I just tend to hate them less or think they have a better shot than the other candidates. I mean, think about it:
Patriots - Caught cheating, slapped on wrist beat us in Super Bowl XXXVIII
Broncos - If they win Tebow will have his own ESPN alternate channel
Steelers - Cocky fanbase, QB accused of rape multiple times
Texans - Nothing bad to say, they even have a cajun that I'm fond of. Decimated by injuries, no shot of victory
Bengals - If Dalton makes a run it doesn't bode well for Cam's OROY chances *IMO*
Ravens - Again nothing bad to say, just can't hitch my wagon to a lame horse
Packers - After feeling like a visitor at BoA stadium September 18th they don't need anyone else on that bandwagon
49ers - Cocky coach and fanbase, Willis has cast a shadow over Beason his entire career
Saints - There is not enough room to post the terrible things I think about this franchise as a whole
Falcons - NFC South rival, former dirty birds...bad blood
Lions - Dirty team, dirty town and a heart wrenching come from behind win this year against the Panthers
This post is of course based on opinions so if you want to argue that I have the wrong one it won't get you very far. Rather, let's put it to a vote and see who the CSR community will be leaning more towards supporting.
