Hate seeing this in a sports blog.
I have ALWAYS hated seeing crime stats in the sports page.
If it’s newsworthy, put it in the NEWS section. The Mike Tyson rape story, the Ray Carruth murder story, were tragic, but not sports events.
Theodore Kaczynski (the “Unabomber”) wasn’t covered in the education section, Eric Robert Rudolph wasn’t covered in the “Religion” section and Jefferey Dahmer sure as hell wasn’t covered in the “FOOD” section of the news! Why-in-the-hell are DUI’s and D/V covered in the SPORTS pages?
It’s NOT sports news!
Just my rant.
Because nobody knew who those people were before their "incident".
Aldon Smith is a fairly well-known athlete.
