The Panthers have lost a CFL Free Agent to the Vikings today. It's not OT/G Jovan Olafioye, but it's still a BC Lion. They lost the CFL's Rookie of the Year in 2010, and winner of the CFL's "Hardest Hitter Award" in 2011, LB Solomon Elimimian (6-0, 227) to the Vikings. He is from Nigeria, and holds Hawaii's all-time college record for tackles. The Rams were also trying to sign Elimimian.
I hadn't even heard the Panthers were considering siging him until now. Now that the Panthers have finally worked out CFL Free Agent OT/G Jovan Olafioye, lets hope the Panthers don't lose out on him as well, but he's now worked out for 13 teams, so either he's not that good, or he's trying to start a bidding war.
