Gatherings from the Senior Bowl 4th Day of Practice...CANCELLED.
Today is the 4th day of the Senior Bowl practices. However, due to weather complications related to tornadoes in Mobile, Alabama the practices were cancelled for a period of time and then again somewhat reestablished inside indoor facilities but only as a series of simple walk-throughs.Therefor due to its essential cancellation as a result of the weather, I was unable to generate a summation of today's practice notes on the prospects.
However I did put together some information that I found on the QBs of the Senior Bowl specifically pointing out Russel Wilson, whom is being considered as a potential backup for Cam by some CSR members.
Here it is:
Russell Wilson: 1.9 reads, 70% throwing the correct read, 15% wrong read (didn't make incorrect read all of Day 2)
Brandon Weeden: 1.6 reads, 65% throwing the correct read (only once made correct read with poor throw)
Kirk Cousins: 1.5 reads, 40% throwing the correct read (5 throws that were either poor throws or route communication errors)
Ryan Lindley: 1.5 reads, 30% throwing the correct read (40% of the time was the wrong read, mostly thanks to pressure in pocket and panicking)
Kellen Moore: 1.2 reads, 20% throwing the correct read (that includes one "sack", which is a sack that he caused by indecisiveness, not by pressure)
Nick Foles: 1.2 reads, 40% throwing the correct read, but "sacked" FOUR times due to indecisiveness.

Also some quotes:
"I still think Russell Wilson is going to flourish in the NFL. He has the "it" factor. He is short but has big hands and can really spin the ball. Some have questioned his deep ball accuracy but that will come with time and when Wilson gets outside the pocket, he is deadly. He would have a top 5 grade from me if he were three inches taller."
-NFL Mocks
"QB Russell Wilson of Wisconsin has shown he's able to make plays based on his athleticism. Wilson looked like he was going to be sacked in scrimmage for a big loss, but was able to escape the rush to make a nice completion to Chris Polk."
-Sportsillustrated.cnn.com
"Watching Wilson throw in Mobile, it's clear that he can see over and around linemen to find windows. He's connecting on seam routes that he couldn't throw accurately without seeing the player. Remember, these players have been together four days, Wilson is not familiar enough with the wide receivers yet to make 100 percent of his throws based on timing and familiarity with the route tree. He's seeing the receivers, and answering the questions and doubts about how well he can see downfield."

I think Wilson might be that surprise pick that goes early
a la Ponder or Gabbert. Given the number QB hungry teams, I wouldn’t be surprised

it All Depends On How Givens Does At The Combine
If he measures 6-0+, and runs around a 4.40-40, he’s probably a 3rd round pick, maybe even a late 2nd.
If he’s 6-0, and runs in the high 4.4’s, then maybe a 4th or 5th round pick.
If he’s 6-0, and runs in the low 4.5’s, then maybe a 5th or 6th round pick.
If he’s under 6-0, and runs in the 4.5’s, then its likely the 6th or 7th round.
Im a Wake fan so I am bias
But id like to grab Givens in the 5th round. I also really like Danny Coale in like the 6th or 7th round.(Not both of course)
