Insight on Senior Bowl prospect participants that might be of interest:
*Mitchell Schwartz (T/Cal) was forced to play center after the North’s second center, Garth Gerhart (ASU) left the field with an injury. Schwartz has held his own in the early going, blocking with good fundamentals and, more importantly, displaying the ability to handle the center/quarterback snap exchange.
*Alameda Ta’amu (DT/Washington) has displayed a lot of power on the inside, consistently pushing offensive linemen off the ball and into the backfield.
*Mike Adams (T/Ohio State) looks like he’s got his game on track and has been dominant in the middle part of practice.
*Mike Adams (T/Ohio State) is really starting to pull it together. He’s used his wide frame to out-position defenders and moves his feet well for a big man.*Brian Linthicum (TE/Michigan State) has really impressed all day. He looked very athletic during opening drills and has made several impressive catches in full scrimmage.
*Brian Quick (WR/Appalachian State) has struggled and looked outclassed. His routes are awfully slow and not sharp. He’s also dropped several catchable throws.
*Vinny Curry (DE/Marshall) has looked terrific in the early going. He’s been matched up against Ohio State tackle Mike Adams, who has been rising up draft boards, yet he’s bettered the Big Ten lineman. Curry has looked quick, athletic and fluid. Adams reverted to holding Curry in an attempt slow him down.
*Senio Kelemete (G/Washington) has been incredibly athletic on the field and has stopped several top-rated pass rushers — including Jack Crawford of Penn State — dead in their tracks. In the full scrimmage Kelemete annihilated Vinny Curry on one play.
*Michael Egnew (TE/Missouri) has looked incredibly fluid and smooth all day. He’s very natural catching the ball and shows nice tight end speed.

I wouldnt mind taking a shot on Quick
He has good size. We could work on his drops and routes… Look at LaFell
Did the south practice today? If so any information on their practice?

Sorry, that's as much as I could gather...
however as one can see these prospects are beginning to set themselves apart and start show casing their abilities. Mike Adams and Alameda Ta’amu seemed to have really impressed the scouts.

More insight on Ta'amu:
Watching Washington DT Alameda Ta’amu, it’s really impressive the kind of raw power he possesses when asked to simply overwhelm opposing lineman through contact. He also has a sneaky quick set of hands when trying to shed and can keep himself clean. However, he has a tough time keeping his pad level down through contact and far too often is easy to block because of it.

Ta'amu is really growing on me
I sure hope we can draft him
I would take a shot on Michael
Egnew in the 4th-6th round if Jeremy S doesn’t return. Unfortunately his draft stock will rise and be will probably be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round.

What about Alameda Ta'amu in the second?

I'll remeber for next time.
I guess I’m just so used to the doing fanshots and I’ve never done fanposts. Sorry for the late reply though.

Kelemente has looked very good this season for UW.
Kept Price off his back quite a bit.
