But I have TWC, so no NFLN for me. I’ll be watching the Bobcats game and rely on others to provide insight on the Shrine Game.

I found some good basketball jerseys on the cheap on Ebay
You just have to be careful about what you’re buying and who you’re buying from.

Too gimmicky. Kickoffs are ruined enough by being moved up. They just need to go back to the old rules.

I didn’t even know it was on today until i was flipping through the channels during a commercial during the shrine game.

It's just random teams
Like the QB has an Eastern Washington helmet with an Oregon sticker on the back and I believe Furman on the top. One player had a collage of logos on his helmet.
I was wondering about that as well
Are they players who transferred or something? Seems odd that guys would have the logos of other teams on their helmets. Specifically, it looks like there are 3-4 guys with Oregon’s Yellow O stickered on another teams helmet.
The players trade helmet stickers with the guys they became friends with during the week usually, so they end up with a whole bunch.

Anyone else see the updates on Joe Paterno?
It’s not looking good for him. The ESPN bottom line said that he had friends and family gather in the hospital to say a final goodbye. It’s really a shame what’s transpired these past few months. Thoughts and best wishes go out to Joe and his family.

joe pa looks like he might not make it another day. that makes me sad. i hate all the bad things that happened there, but i don’t hate joe pa. you might disagree. but i kinda feel sorry for him.

He was put in a bad situation. Sucks his storied career had to be tarnished by an incident at the end. And if he isn’t able to make it through this, it’s even worse that all these allegations are swirling when we should be honoring his legacy and all the good he’s done for Penn State and college football.
I'm a PSU alum, and from what I'm hearing it does not look good
The official report is that he’s in serious condition due to complications. However, there are rumors from former players that he had his last rites read to him and that family and friends were asked to come to say good bye.
We’re all just hoping that he’s remembered for all the good he did for the University, rather than the events that have transpired in the past few months.

Sorry, I was out of this thread for a while
A PSU student newspaper reported that he had passed. They claimed they had seen an email that was sent out to the lettermen. CBS and every other new site ran with that report, which turned out to be false. According to Paterno’s sons Scott and Jay, he’s still alive and fighting, but in serious condition.
