"DE Greg Hardy said his foot was a problem all year and limited his play. He's anxious to rest it going into next year."
As I was boringly flipping around through web pages I came across this and thought I should share it. Anyone think Greg's foot problem might be related to the motorcycle accident he endured during the summer?

That's Bad News, It Makes It Look More Like Mercilus In The 1st Round
Foot problems were part of the reason Hardy struggled during his senior year, and part of the reason he fell in the draft.
And yet he still put up around a half dozen sacks.
This doesn’t mean anything other than he needs to rest his foot.

I'm a UNC fan and I say
Do not draft Coples…. He has potential yes, but I’d feel more comfortable going into the season with Hardy than Coples… just my opinion

I’d he happy with it if we pick up a good #2 Corner in FA (Maybe Carr or Thomas) it never hurts to add pass rush
Also wouldn’t mind having Z. Brown on this team

Certainly not drafting a DE that hasn’t shown he’s worth a top ten selection. That’s one thing that aggravates me, a piece of news breaks that has nothing to do with the draft leads people to make assumptions about the draft. They are their own entities.

Makes me even more sure we do not need to draft a DE.

A hurt foot?
How many passes did he defend with a hurt foot?
One of the knocks on him coming out of college was the injury bug. THEN he decided to smash and crash a motorcycle …
Hopefully he’ll start this season with a healthy body and a solid set of defensive tackles next to him. With Keiser as a backup and big money on the other side, I see no reason to draft another defensive end.
