PFF - Brandon LaFell Ranked 11th in NFL in Drop %
Panthers WR Brandon LaFell ranked 11th out of 91 WR's in Drop %, according to Pro Football Focus. Even though it's probably self-explanatory, Drop % is the percentage of catchable balls that were dropped. LaFell's drop % was 5.26 (he caught 36 of 38 catchable balls thrown to him).
Note: no other Panthers players were in the top 20, and no Panthers players were in the bottom 20.

Very nice
He’s obviously taken some massive strides forward from this point last year. Like the post I made a while back, I really think LaFell is going to be the guy that will keep us from targeting a WR at any point this offseason.

For a guy whose major knock coming out of college was his tendency to drop easy catches
LaFell has quelled those concerns quite handily.

The power of BAMF
people step up when challenged. We just have to hope that he continues to try to improve himself and not start to feel complacent

Sooo...I guess Graves was the right man for the WR coach position after all lol
Lafell gets the stickum on his hands, Smitty looks like he’s 26 again…can’t wait to see how Gettis is looking in TC/Preseason!

Not only does Lafell catch (almost) everything in reach, I've noticed his vast improvement in making himself a viable target.
There were catches this year where Lafell had to outmaneuver the DB to make a catch. Coming back to the QB or signalling for the long ball are strong points that reflect the QB/WR “intangibles.” I am extremely encouraged to see this on-field communication/trust continue to grow. Lafell may not be Hakeem Nicks, but he may well be Muhsin 2.0.
So much to be done, and so few people willing to do it for me.
And despite catching flak for not creating separation.
Muhsin Muhammad and Brandon LaFell have two of the longest TD catches in Panther history.
Yes I'm a dude.

Having A QB With A Stong Arm, That Delivers The Ball On Time Is A Big Help
In 2010 Clausen’s throws were often late, in addition to being soft, making it much harder on his receivers (getting hit as the ball arrives).
