This is a good list. I would like to recommend it be placed on the Front Page.
Personally, I would like to see the Panthers sign Marcus Thomas, Terrell Thomas, and Steve Gregory.
Cam Newton, when a reporter asks him who will win the Heisman Trophy on Saturday: "I'll tell you Sunday."

This is a good list
I think that we were never really beaten by a completely superior team. There were a couple games where we were a couple talented guys short, and others where we just made some mental mistakes. We have the core to win Superbowls, but filling in a couple gaps here and there could be huge. As I watched these playoffs, I saw guys play who I thought we should have signed, like Jonathan Joseph, Carlos Rogers, and Abrayo Franklin. As for next year, the guys on the list I would like to have, who I think we can afford, are:
Ted Ginn or Roscoe Parrish to return punts (or let Pilares do that, too)
One or two OL on the list to compete for a starting job or add depth
Aubrayo Franklin or Amobi Okoye
Manny Lawson
There are about 4 CBs who I think could start right away…Terrell Thomas, Carlos Rogers, Aaron Ross and Tracy Porter
Dashon Goldson and Tyvon Branch would solidify our safety positions.
This list would include letting RJ Stanford, Senn, Connor and Pugh go.
Aaron R is garbage/ injury prone. Tracy P can't tackle
worth a game. Dashing G will be resigned. tyvon branch can’t cover very well, but can tackle though. Terrell T probably won’t be the same until 2013. Carlos R will be overpaid and is on the wrong side of 30 years old. Aubrayo F was inconsistent at best this year.

I know it's just speculation, but this is a quote from Rotoworld.
The Chargers will reportedly not get into an offseason bidding war for free agent NT Antonio Garay.
The Bolts are high on Garay’s young backup, Cam Thomas, and the 32-year-old Garay took a step back as a run defender after a mammoth 2010 season. Garay could make some sense as a late-career signing in the Fred Robbins mold with old pal Ron Rivera and the Panthers. He’s probably got a solid year or two left. Jan 8 – 1:13 PM
So much to be done, and so few people willing to do it for me.
I wouldn't be shocked if we brought him in.
Sign a NT in free agency and draft Dre K (or Claiborne if he’s still there at #8 by some miracle).
The truth will set you free, but not until it is finished with you. ~David Foster Wallace
I may not always be right, but even a blind nut finds a squirrel every once in a while.
I'm calling it now that we bring in Garay.
We either re-sign Nanee or bring in some insurance for Gettis like Eddie Royal. i’d resign hangartner in case Schwartz doesn’t work at RG or has to be moved to tackle due to Otah getting hurt or Bell not improving.
Yes I'm a dude.
hit post too soon
At DL I think we add Garay, i’d love Red Bryant too. At safety, I’d be THRILLED if we could add Jim Leonhard. Someone like Steve Gregory is more likely though. Add Garay, Kirkpatrick, Gregory, Lavonte David or Thomas Davis, and Jon Beason back to this defense and we get a large step closer to the Panthers defense of the past.
Yes I'm a dude.
I was going to post about Red Bryant too...
I think he is an under the radar guy that would could really help our run defense
