Happy New Year CSR Members!
2012 is upon us, the year of our return to NFL significance. Of course we still have one game left in our 'rebuilding' season yet but at least we can say 2012 is now here.
I hope you have a good new year and let's cheer our Panthers in their final battle of the 2011 season against the Saints.
So who is going to eat the traditional southern New Years day dinner? From my understanding here's what you need to eat:
- Hoppin' John (or black eye peas) for good luck
- Collard greens for money
- Stewed tomatoes for good health (Uhgg)
- Pork for prosperity
- Corn bread just cause it goes with everything else

Happy New Year!
I keep hearing fireworks all over the place.
ACC Championship Member Brandon Thompson is the new Jacoby Ford. You better pick him Panthers or you will be doomed to relive the 2010 season over and over again in the Twilight Zone.
Clemson 2011 ACC Champions! Look forward to doing it again next year! :D
Just got back from launching a bunch of fireworks
Neighborhood sounds like warzone, like someone above said. It’s good fun though.
Definitely not fire works...
My family and neighborhood tradition is to make like Libya and put as much lead in the air as possible

My family traditions are in a bit of a "rebuilding" mode, too.
Without getting too sappy & personal, I’ll just say to everyone: hold on to your loved ones with everything you’ve got, and never take them or the time your spend with them for granted.
HAPPY NEW YEAR’S!

The same as the aftermath of every night out, sit and chuckle at the people that can't handle their alcohol.

I have dinner at my fiance's parents.
They’re from upstate NY and her mother always steams a pot of mussels, cooks spaghetti with big homemade meatballs and whole italian hot suasages in the sauce. The sauce is her own concoction too. Good stuff.

A little diiferent for hillbillies of nc mountains
Cooked cabbage is for money (bills), black eyed peas symbolize coins, pork chops are usually the meat, though I think thats just cause we love pork anything, and never pass up a chance for cornbread and butter. My family were hillbillies amd shiners, this was folk tale passed to me, lol.

Things NOT to eat today, on New Years Day
Lobster or Crawdads and Chicken.
Lobsters and Crawdads crawl backwards and signify regression for the new year. Similar for chickens, because they scratch backwards.
So cancel the Lobster House or KFC trip today.
Happy New Year all!!
