Former Patriots TE Lee Smith was claimed on waivers by Buffalo. Former Cowboys CB Josh Thomas claimed on waivers by Carolina.

Per Schefter's twitter feed. Yes, the Panthers signed Josh Thomas, a 5th round pick of the Cowboys. I sure hope they know what they're doing.
