Michael Silver makes more ridiculous claims about Jerry Richardson

I got sucked in to this article knowing that Rivera v. Chicago and Olsen v. Martz would be mentioned. What I didn't expect was Silver to use a half assed "Peppers wants revenge" line just to get another chance to call JR cheap and grumpy.

This is just more proof that Michael Silver is a bottom feeding ass, who will throw anyone under the bus (as long as they aren't in some way affiliated with Cal... he has a raging hard on for anything Golden Bears).

I don’t understand the revenge thing. Revenge for being tagged one year? That’s the only thing I can think of, because it’s not like Jerry didn’t try and keep Peppers around. He never showed Peppers the door, he offered him a HUGE contract, but Peppers wanted the hell out of Carolina. So I don’t see any reason for revenge on Peppers’ part.

And where in the hell does Silver get the idea that Richardson is gloating? I don’t think he’s even talked to the media since the lockout ended. Sounds like someone has a personal vendetta to me.

Silver was hardcore on the side of the NFLPA during the lockout, to the point of laughability

Which made JR public enemy #1 in his eyes. Seems he hasn’t let it go, and just plans on finding any reason whatsoever to trash JR.

He fails to see that JR in fact offered Peppers tons of money to stay in Carolina, Peppers decided to leave anyway.
