It's never to late to start a Game Ball post series so here we go. Which Panther deserves the game ball for the game against the Packers? Here's out list of candidates:

1. QB Cam Newton - As I'm sure you have heard rookie QB Cam Newton threw for 400+ yards and 2 TDs in his second start and is averaging 428 yds per game. All you need to know is Newton has now been proclaimed a weekly start in fantasy football; )

2. RB Jonathan Stewart - 4 reception for 100 yards receiving, Stewart was electric in open space and gashed the Packer defense throughout the day

3. WR Steve Smith - Smith hauled in 6 receptions for 156 yards. The 32 year old Smith is suddenly rejuvenated with Newton under center and 300+ plus yards in two games. (We'll ignore the fumble for now)

4. DE Charles Johnson - Johnson added another sack and four tackles including a key stop on 3rd down in the fourth quarter to stop a key Packer drive.

5. LB James Anderson - Anderson led the Panther defense with 7 tackles in the wake of losing MLB Jon Beason for the season. Now with Thomas Davis on IR as well Anderson should feel the pressure to step up his leadership.

So make your selection in the poll below.
