Panthers re-do Gross' contract
"According to contract numbers obtained by ESPN.com, the Panthers restructured the contract of veteran offensive tackle Jordan Gross. They took his salary-cap figure for this season from $10 million down to $9 million for the 2011 season. "

1. Probably not much. They cleared the space on Saturday, so I assume it was in expectation of signing two vested veterans in Fields and Wells more than foreshadowing a move.
