The Panthers already have $91.6 million committed toward the cap in 2014. The Green Bay Packers are next at $62 million and most teams are around $30 million to $40 million. Heck, the Cleveland Browns are last with $17.7 million scheduled against the cap that year.
I'm not one to dwell on the cap and money spent myself but I know many of you like to delve into this. In my view what does it matter how much money is spent on who as long as you win? Win and your GM is a cap genius, lose and it was one bad decision after another. I also think that by the time 2014 rolls around these contracts and guaranteed money won't look so large; again provided we've risen from the ashes and at least made the playoffs once or twice.
