Panthers Place 4 On IR - Rotoworld

RotoWorld just posted that the Panthers have placed 4 players on IR, ending their seasons. The 4 players are WR David Gettis, G/C Zachary Williams, TE Gary Barnidge, and RG Geoff Schwartz.

The others were expected, but Schwartz is something of a surprise, and a big blow to their O-Line. Duke Robinson isn't an appealing replacement, and he is still recovering from a concussion. The panthers really should have played Bell and Zeimba at RG in the last game, because 1 of them could now be starting at RG in the 1st game.

Another option might be the Cardinals G Duce Lutui, who's on the roster bubble. He reported overweight, and isn't starting on the depth chart, with a $1.3 million 1 year contract. Maybe in the "One man's trash is another man's treasure" line of thought, they would take Bernadeau or Robinson in trade, or a fringe CB.
