We always love to have new contributors help us cover the Carolina Panthers and give fans as much coverage as we can possibly muster. However, when an opportunity presents itself to add a contributor who has regular access to the team directly it's cause for some celebration.

Please join me in welcoming Bill Voth to the Cat Scratch Reader editorial team. Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in covering the Carolina Panthers as a sports anchor in Charlotte, and now with CSR he will assist in giving us updates from practice and post-game directly from the team. Most fans agree that since Darin Gantt was reassigned Bill has been one of the 'go-to-guys' in giving team information over social media.

All of the writers and editors you've grown to know (and hopefully love) and staying right here at CSR, so don't worry that this is symbolic of a shift in the site, but rather this is adding yet another string to our proverbial bow. While we will do our best to offer the same analysis and rapid news updates you rely on, Bill will support with giving us the pulse of the organization in a way we haven't had before.
