Just a few hours away folks! Now we'll look at the factors that will play into the Carolina Panthers defense having success tonight.
X-Factor- Matt Moore
Granted, it's not like Matt Moore has any clue what kind of defense he'll be seeing from Sean McDermott and Ron Rivera, but that doesn't mean he doesn't understand the tendencies of guys he's practiced against for years. If anyone understands the hot/cold nature of Matt Moore it's Carolina Panthers fans who have seen him teeter on the precipice of brilliance, only to fall over the edge and melt down. In many ways the NFL as a whole are still waiting to see who the real Matt Moore is? A dart throwing, 90+ QB rating player, or a flawed, destined to always be the bridesmaid but never the bride. While Moore wont start the game vs. Carolina, in the end he could be the difference between a win and a loss.

Miami Dolphins Passing offense vs. Carolina Panthers pass defense
Last week for Miami was a mixed bag as both Henne and Moore had ups and downs. Conversely in Carolina it appeared that the Panthers were really going to be struggling to defend Eli Manning and his receivers with the secondary decimated, but in the end they prevailed. Ron Meeks really has his unit on point thus far, proving his value to the Carolina Panthers. I think the Panthers will be a little too good tonight with Charles Johnson back on the field along with Thomas Davis and Captain Munnerlyn

Miami Dolphins rushing offense vs. Panthers run defense
Until Reggie Bush is ready to take the field the Dolphins' rushing attack is in pretty bad shape. Last week they only managed 2.3 yards per carry against the Falcons, and while Carolina will be without Jon Beason this week the additions of Thomas Davis and Charles Johnson should be able to derail rushing attempts before they ever get to start. I have a feeling it might be a long night for Miami's RBs.
Edge: Panthers
Outlook: I think Matt Moore could be an impact player tonight, and he'll have to be because I think with Henne on the field, and in the running game the Dolphins will struggle.
