Sal Paolantonio is reporting that we have not shown any interest in Samuel and have not (yet) made an offer. His opinion (whether informed or not is another matter) is that CAR will run with Munnerlyn and hold out for a cheaper option after roster cuts. He doesnt really offer much in the way of objective evidence on this theory but he may have spoken with someone at NYJ who has given him the information.
Dont know if this has legs or not, but if so, it is pretty significant. Obviously we have to do SOMETHING at CB with Marshall leaving, Hogan on PUP, and Munnerlyn (whom I like) more suited for the nickel package than for pressing coverage.
