3 Rosters spots left ......who gets 'em?

According to Joe Person we are up to 87 players now including the waiting to be signed DT McClain. We still have a couple of needs to fill, including a vet QB, some CB depth (with vet players) and possibly another DT or DE.

Any thoughts on what we do (besides attempt to get Samuel from PHI - which I would love)?

My one offering on here is one that has been repeated on other posts - Derek Anderson may be a good pickup to fill out the QB ranks and help prep Cam. He has a prior relationship with Chud - who hasnt been bashful about pursuing some of his former peeps.....

Grimes

is a restricted, in which a team would have to surrender a 1st and 3rd to acquire him. As for Cromartie, teams such as the 49ers, Raiders, and Jets are interested in signing him.

Doesn't look there are any real "starters" per say left

I am open to ideas but until people get released or waived, I just don’t see anyone we could sign and just plug in at this moment.

i still think a vet QB is coming. im disappointed they didnt snatch one up now

because i think he needs to be there now helping out our young QBs. but maybe they think waiting till final cuts will produce a better option. can’t fault them until then.
