I'm reading that one of the Panthers' priorities today is to sign TD and Beason to extensions.  For TD, I don't know if that equals:  big money, multi year FA contract.  If it does.....

IT'S DUMB.

I LOVE TD, he's been a great asset to the Panthers.  I'm not saying we don't love him or need him on our defense.  But if it were me, I would be working on an extension for TD on Nov. 1, after he proved 1) he's not going to go down with another injury early on, and 2) that he's the same TD talent wise that he was prior to the ACLs. You would think even TD would understand the validity of this.  And why are we in such a hurry?  Are other teams just dying to sign a guy coming off of two ACL injuries?? And if they are, he's still under contract this year!!

To sign TD to a big money contract now would be BAD business IMO.  The risk is off the hook way too high.  Anyone agree with me??
