I love our fans... football gets back on track and we blow up an open thread with over 500 comments in three hours. Nice to have everyone back and CSR feeling more normal again. If you missed the basic recap of what happened here it is: 

- Panthers signed SS Kevin Payne (You can read our piece on it)

- Charles Johnson said his meeting with the Panthers went 'great'. Take that as you will

- Matt Moore seems resigned that he will not return after leaving the facility without a playbook. Clausen and Newton are the only returning QBs this afternoon. That includes Tony Pike who hasn't been in QB meetings with them.

- DeAngelo Williams likes the direction of the offense and wants to remain a Carolina Panther. (You can read our piece on it)

- The Panthers will allow Thomas Davis to test free agency out of respect, but it seems both sides want him to return.
