Hi fellow Panther fans.  Longtime reader, 1st time post.  I look forward to getting your feedback!

1. Does anyone agree that when it comes to free agent signings, high character matters?  Deangelo, Anderson, TD, all guys that you know are gonna give you all they have, big money or not.  Is CJ a high character guy or a Kris Jenkins/Al Haynesworth?

2. Is anything being done to keep Smitty in town? I mean, a grassroots We Love You 89 campaign that would make him feel wanted? He seems to be connecting to Charlotte through community events, are we reaching out to reciprocate?

3. If we trade Smitty for a pick, can anyone disagree we HAVE to sign a big name WR?  Or have we forgotten how terrible that receiver core was last year?

4. Why is everyone saying we have to sign a DT in free agency? When you draft a 2nd and 3rd rounder at that position, isn't that supposed to address that need?

5.  Can someone help me understand the logic "All we need is to re-sign our core players and we'll be fine?"  Really?  From a 2-14 team??  Isn't this kind of ignorant homerism something that deserves a smack in the face?
