We all know that center Ryan Kalil likes to joke on his Twitter account, so for now file this under 'maybe', but a few minutes ago Kalil said the following:

Reliable source telling me possible reality sports doc TV series coming to NC after today's media presence covering Panther POTA's.

Then he posted the following photo: 

Now, it has to be noted that Kalil is known as both a joker on his account, and also an avid photoshop user- but if true then this represents the most reliable source we have postulating the Panthers would be featured on the HBO series.

So, if you're visiting CSR from another blog or message board there may not be a need to make fun of us anymore when we talked about this 3-4 weeks ago ; )

UPDATE: Geoff Schwartz posted "I'll believe it when I see it" and Jonathan Stewart said "Liar". This could well be a gag, time will tell.

Obviously there are significant concerns with the Panthers having the kind of attention Hard Knocks would bring, especially with the development of Cam Newton. However, for a team in need of some positive media attention this would definitely grease the wheels for how the organization is viewed on a national level.

Time will tell whether Kalil was being serious, but for now it seems entirely plausible.
