Gross on WFNZ said that Pilares was the fastest player there and constantly beating people in the uphill runs. Thought that was good to hear.

Thanks for sharing the link!
Gross is really good with the media and gives good interviews. It’s great to hear a lot of positive things about the team – the rookies (esp. Pilares), Cam and all of the QBs helping each other out, Shockey, the LBs, etc.
I definitely recommend that everyone listen to this interview – interesting stuff.

I've said this before but
On paper Pilares is my favorite draft pick in years. After everything I’ve read about him since the draft I’m dumbfounded that he wasn’t a 3-4 rounder. I really hope he works out because at this point I have very high expectations for him.
Great share! Rec!
I don’t recall Gross being so vocal. I like seeing him taking the next step in terms of leadership. That was a pretty good interview.
I’m also really excited about Pilares. Right after the draft I watched the highlights for almost all of Hawaii’s games and seeing the kinds of plays he made – in the context of the flow of each game – I came away very impressed.
When will the lockout end?? :(

Gross has defiantly stepped up his game in the leadership department. One thing i think the offense struggled with last year. There really wasn’t a voice on that side of the ball. With Gross stepping up and Newton and Shockey added on i think that will change.
Also Got to be impressed with Cam. He worked out yesterday flew to DC met Obama and flew back to be one of the first guys to practice before 8am. Kid isn’t lock to be a franchise QB but it won’t be because he didn’t give it his all. And really thats all any fan and team can ask for.

Gross has always been one of the leaders of the offense.
I just think Jake’s charisma hid it pretty well until 2010.
Think it was great of all the former Panthers to be there and help run the drills.
That is the kind of thing that instills a since of history and respect for the franchise and the former players.
Moose!!!
I just really like Moose. Even though he’d slowed down (I’ll give him a pass when he’s a 37-yr-old WR), he still was able to make plays and move the chains, and took pride in his blocking downfield. I often wondered if he would have helped out the offense last year if he had been around one more year. With the poor QB play, I don’t know how much he could have done…but something to think about.

Did you ever see the United Way commercial with Moose?
He was painting a wall with some kids and the voice over said something like “Muhsin Muhammed, greatest receiver to ever live” and he turned around and winked at the camera…

I don't think I ever saw it.
And a brief trip to Youtube didn’t yield any results. But it sounds good. =)

I remember. At first the guys says something like “NFL ProBowl WR Mushin…” and Moose turns his head to the camera and mouths “Whatchu talkin’ ’bout?” Then the guys says he’s the greatest reciever to ever life at the end.

That's right.
I tried to look it up but couldn’t find it.

HAHA....Gross is obviously a big Matt Moore fan...
not so much on the Clausen front……But he really is good on the PR front. Honest without being controversial.
Now where's my REAL fans at?!
