Peter King talks about it in his column this week. First it was Chris Weinke. Now Cam is working with former Miami great Ken Dorsey. Why is this important? Well...
There's a good reason Dorsey and Newton have become workout and classroom partners. In 2001 and 2002, Dorsey, at Miami, was coached by Hurricane offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski. In 2007 and 2008, Dorsey, with the Cleveland Browns, was coached by Browns offensive coordinator Chudzinski.
ProFootballFocus also tweeted earlier that they loved the move. They said Dorsey was always a very bright QB, but limited physically. Sounds like a good guy to teach Cam.
I think this is a great move by Cam. It's nice to see him working so far with so many different QBs, especially after his work ethic was thrown into question and all. So who is your guess for next on the list of former QBs Cam works with?
Comment by Jaxon: I realize we've discussed this already but I found the added tweet comments interesting that the Panthers supposedly en-dorsey-ed the move (pun intended). So Dorsey was a bright student? But he went to Miami...;) I kid, I kid. I don't want Beast-on mad at me!
