It would appear that since being drafted and being able to get his hands on the playbook. He has decided to keep it with him and read and go over it every chance he gets. This according to a report on yahoo, which I know you all love yahoo sports, lol. This is a very good thing for him, the team, and the fans. He is speaking like he still has that chip on his shoulder, wants to prove he belongs in the NFL and that he deserved that number 1 pick. Cam has stated in interviews that he reads it every chance he gets, even going to sleep with it sometimes. I like this notion and if true speaks volumes about his work ethic and drive to succeed and win. I'll be the first to admit I was not sold on Cam, I want Dareus or Fairley. I love my defense and still think either would have been a solid pick. I will not down Cam though, he could very well be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I will reserve judgement on him. I will not even ride him during his first year....maybe, lol. There may be, just may be, some emotional snap judgements on game day. I am however warming up to the man. If he really is this determined, has this kind of work ethic and will to succeed, and pick up the offense pretty quick (I think he is much smarted than stated, Einstein no, but smarter than credited) then we will love this kid for years to come. I know I am not the most liked poster and a bit confrontational, but I can have hope too. Perhaps the first post in which I don't start a war of words. Sound off if you like it, or even if your view differs, but expound upon your varying theories.
