Not many posts with 5 Recs this past week - but what there were were 'cherce',
Punched in the nose? Nah... that isn't the Beason I know.
Now if he had a massive battle axe lodged in his forehead, he might have a case.

I kind of feel like a bitch (sorry for the language – but it’s the most appropriate term) for the scathings I’ve given him recently.
Although I don’t think I ever talked about the house thing – it is good to know that’s how he’s looking at it.
And very interesting to see that he had doubts about himself and knows he could have played better. If there was a true seachange – if he would buy into the new system, if he’d buy into the new coaches, if he’d support Newton and not scream at him on the sidelines and say "He sure ain’t at Auburn anymore" – I would be more inclined to be happy to see him stay. Maybe I’m just being too skeptical and reading something between the lines that’s not there, but I still feel like he thinks he prefers to be somewhere else.

We are going to throw in some 3-4 stuff though. I can’t wait to see the 3-4 looks. A super-fast 3-4. Tons of combos too… Between Norwood, Brown, Davis, Beason, Anderson, Jason Williams, and Connor. We can get creative.
We can go big or fast on the line too. We need a true NT. For both the 3-4 and 4-3. I don’t have any faith in Fua.
We are built for a 4-3. In every way. We are in no way ready to make the transition to a 3-4 as our base D. We will be running a 4-3 fire-zone, Sean McDermott’s D.
Rivera ran a 4-3 in Chicago before coming to SD. His second or 3rd year he had a top 5 D IIRC (not sure exactly, but I know it was one of the best in the league). Pretty impressive to be able to run both with that success.
I’m expecting our D to be serious and feared by the end of 2012. We still need a NT IMO, and it usually takes players a little bit of time to get comfortable adjusting to a new scheme. Once they are comfortable, they will be able to play fast.

I love this one:
Beason is in my kids elementary school cafeteria on a poster promoting healthy eating and strong bones. Should he really be the guy to be a role model to our children if he is making videos about gang banging women, hanging out at strip clubs and punching the local town jackass?
Welcome to the misguided world of using professional athletes as role models for children.
