Okay, so it's only the end of the fifth round by now, but I think this article makes a very good point. In the past, the Panthers were a strictly BPA team who occaisionally would take a chance on a guy they really liked. It seems from this year, the Panthers are shedding their conservative draft philosophy and taking chances on a potential dynomite boom/bust prospect, underrated DTs, and players with injury and character concerns.
