Panthers Draft History Review: 1999 Gem
Continuing our review of the Panthers draft history I'm going to switch it up and start 1999 with the list of 'Gem' candidates. We actually have some good ones to choose from in spite of the fact we had no 1st round pick due to the Sean Gilbert trade:
2 (34) T Chris Terry
Terry was a three year starter for the Panthers who's employment with the team only ended because of CDV offense against his wife. He missed only one start over three seasons and was a quality starter for three more for the Seahawks. So did Terry turn things around after the NFL? Nope, you'll see him on the 'bust' list too.
2 (38) DE Mike Rucker
One of the Panthers best defensive linemen in it's history, Rucker amassed 55.5 sacks over a quality 9 year NFL career. He recorded 416 tackles, 16 FF and 29 PDs from getting those arms up! Talk about durable, Rucker only missed 5 games in those 9 seasons.
One more candidate after the jump...
4 (100) LB Hannibal Navies
Navies played four seasons for the Panthers, only logging stats in his 3rd and 4th seasons. In those two seasons he logged 52 tackles and a PD. In 2003 directly after leaving Carolina he had his best season with the Packers. He recorded 86 tackles and a sack. He finished his 9 yr career with 221 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
Take the poll as I imagine it won't be a hard selection to make...

I can't find any help section on this site so i am going to post here about it in hopes someone that works here reads it.
My screen keeps jumping up & down while i try to read. The bottom of the page says something is waiting to load & it keeps repeating it every time it jumps. what the bottom says is “waiting for ”http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/connect/xd_proxy.php?version=0" target="_blank">http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/connect/xd_proxy.php?version=0,,,". I have googled that and it says it is a facebook thing. I think you have a facebook ad that is messing up my screen. It also affects the z making comments go to new comments. This is the only site that happens to me at so i am assuming it is a problem here. Just thought you might want to know & try to fix it, thanks.

I sent 3 emails about the exact same thing to sbnation
The html has finally stopped loading 100 times per minute, which was causing the facebook “like” button to jump up and down, but the z comments still don’t work for me either.

I'm not having that problem on my computer...
But I will let Jaxon know so he can send a bug report to SB Nation.
Thanks for letting us know Bernz, we’ll try to get it fixed ASAP.

Appreciate it, .
it really is annoying trying to find the newer comments after you are used to that z doing it for you.
Yeah, I've had the "z" problem in the past...
And it is one of the most annoying problems we have on the site.
I’ve sent the email off, so hopefully the powers that be at SBN can figure out what’s causing the problem and resolve it.

Rucker in a landslide.
I remember ole Hannibal…makes me think of the A-Team every time I hear his name.
Of course, Mr. T said it like “Hammy-bull.”

I pity the fool that don't know how to say hammy-bull...

Must be Navies and his parents.

And who said Rucker wasn't a gem?

Probably an ex-wife or ex-girlfriend who's bitter.
