Still hoping Hurney and Rivera are blowing smoke about Cam to trade down. I really can't believe they hype about this guy. Anyway, some of my picks in previous mocks have moved up the board and may not be available, though my first 3 picks are the same, and my TE I'm moving to the 4th pick rather than the previous pick of 5th as he moves up the board. Generally, BPA philosophy to strengthen the team and not just 1 or 2 positions.
1 Patrick Peterson--CB--LSU BPA hands down.
65 Jarvis Jenkins--DT--Clemson An upgrade at DT
97 Ricky Stanzi--QB--Iowa Fighting it out with Clausen and Pike for backup to FA QB for this year.
102 Virgil Green--TE--Nevada TE of the future after Shockey
129 Nate Irving--LB--NC State Very skilled and fast LB a la Thomas Davis Bad car wreck hurt college career, but great at TFL
161 Vincent Brown--WR SD State Solid possession WR to supplement Smitty, Lafell, and Gettis
193--David Carter--DT UCLA Good DT who played well in the EW Shrine Game. More depth to compete at DT
203--Evan Royster--RB--Penn State Big back who can put on weight and be a better pro than in college
246--Trevis Turner--OT--Abilene Christian Huge little college All-america at 6-7, 342 provides potential Otah insurance.
5 off, 4 def
If we can get a 2nd in a trade-down, I love Stephen Paea at DT in that spot. That would likely remove Jenkins with a different player, maybe James Brewer, an OT from Indiana who's moved up the board a lot.
Welcome comments, even from Cam Heads :)
