From what I've been reading, the cardinals are thinking about revamping their receiving corp. I think we all know that Larry Fritz(who is entering his final year) is not happy with the situation in Arizona. What if we traded back from 1 to 5 and also got Larry Fritz in the deal. All the cardinals want out of this draft is a qb. We, on the other hand, have a lot of defensive needs that we can address. Let them take a chance on Cam or Gabbert. We can pick up BPA at 5 (Hoping for PP7). Then we sign a veteran qb that knows how to win( Hasselbeck or McNabb) and let Jimmy sit back and develop. Rivera understands that its a passing league. Imagine Larry Fritz, Brandon Lafell, David Gettis, with Smitty in the slot. The running game is there, O-line is there(if healthy).
I'm no expert so I honestly don't know how realistic this situation is, but hey a man can dream :)
