I'm not sure what to make of it so far, but methinks the NFLPA is starting to stumble a bit, and here's my rationale: For months, Smith has been banging the "financial transparency" drum in an attempt to not only get an opportunity to look at (and analyze/scrutinize club info), but win over popular support for the NFLPA as well (make them look like the "good guys" in the situation). But I don't think he actually expected them to ever offer any info, and it's looking like the league is trying to catch him off guard. What happens next will be interesting, because the NFL's case against decertification might get bolstered if the NFLPA snubs its nose at the very info that it has been requesting.....
