I just heard on ESPN radio, Ryen Russillo was interviewing Sal Palentonio who said that he has spoken directly with Andy Reid about Kevin Kolb. Reid told Sal that he WANTS to trade Kolb. Even if he can't trade him before the draft next month, Reid is willing to trade Kolb after the draft for a 2012 pick.
Okay, so it's no longer what they are going to do with him, Reid says he's tradin him. I assume he will want first or second round pics. My questions to you all are, Do we want him? If so, how do you think we get him?
My opinion on how after the jump.
I say, since we probably won't see a CBA conclusion before the draft, we should go for Kolb (and prob a pic) with our 2012 first rounder. We can focus on our DL, CB, OL in this draft instead of using one on a QB and lock up Kolb for a pic we may have used on a QB if we didn't use a pick on one this year.
If we have the opportunity to try to trade for him before the draft, I say we give them our 1st pick for Kolb and their second rounder. Again, we can then focus on the DL etc. this year, especially since DL is so deep this year.
Maybe I am giving up to much, but I'm just thinking that Philly has the leverage here because they don't have to let him go for nothing because there are teams that will probably give up a ton to get him because they desperately need a QB.
Lets hear what you got CSR
